Short summary
Snow and glacier melt are essential for water supply in mountain regions, but it is challenging to determine how much each source contributes to streamflow. To improve these estimates, we simulated 14 headwater catchments in Switzerland using a hydrological model modified to include snow redistribution and integrating glacier melt from a glacier evolution model. This allowed more accurate estimates of snow and glacier melt contributions, supporting future predictions of water availability.
