Short summary
This study evaluated how alternative parameterization schemes in the Noah-Multiparameterization model affect snow and runoff in the Missouri River Basin. Simulations were compared with U.S. Geological Survey streamflow, University of Arizona snow water equivalent, and Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model evapotranspiration across 50 Hydro-Climate Data Network subbasins. As a result, we confirmed alternative schemes could improve groundwater, evapotranspiration, and runoff representation.
