Both reviewers believe that the paper improved considerable and that the paper has potential to be published in HESS if the comments and suggestions are considered seriously in a revised version of the manuscript. thanks a lot for sending in the revised versions and the detailed response.
I think you have addressed most points. But I would like to stress some points that need to be changed before the ms can be accepted for publication in HESS:
1) There is still the wording "measurement dimension" in the ms, despite you promised to remove it.
2) the Tailna River is ending in the nowhere in Figure 1. I think the river should be connected to the Tarim river. In addition, the legend and the labels are very small in this Figure and not readable. You also need to explain BT, AWS, TC and XT
3) The font size in the other Figures (e.g. 5, 7, 9,10,11) are also too small. Please change and increase. It would also be better if you would use sans-serif font, as they are much better readable in Figures.
4) Please remove the boxes around the graphs in Figure 2 and better indicate the individual month (too small and at the lower right bottom is difficult to see).
