thanks for the thorough online replies.
Please prepare a revised version of the manuscript along these lines addressing all reviewer comments. As both reviewers suggested clarification of the work flow and more transparency in the assumptions and use of the different datasets, I think this aspect along with an improved justification of the contribution this study makes with respect to previous work but also with respect to the uncertainties in the many underlying datasets are the main aspects that require work on the manuscript.
I am looking forward to reading the revised manuscript.
