This paper adresses a very important topic using an original methodology. The reviewers also enjoyed reading the manuscript and have provided several constructive remarks. In particular, the model description and data used need additional details and the discussion section needs to be extended, including sensitivity analyses and management scenarios. The proposed changes by the authors are in the line for taking into account rigorously these suggestions and I encourage them to perform the additional tests required.
